The Emmitsburg Community Chorus is dedicated to enriching our community through choral music.
From our founding in 1966, the Emmitsburg Community Chorus has been a non-audition choral group that welcomes all voices that are inspired to create beautiful sounds, who enjoy musical collaboration, and are dedicated to building community connections through a culture of music.
We strive for musical excellence, a diverse offering of choral music, a welcoming environment, and connectedness with the local community.
Musical Excellence
The ECC welcomes singers from all backgrounds and with all abilities to join with us in providing our community memorable performances. We emphasize the growth of individual singers, providing opportunities for vocal improvement, music literacy, collaboration, and the exploration of different musical styles.
Diversity
The ECC include community members of all ages and musical experiences. We believe that a diversity of talent enhances our music and broadens our musical opportunities as individuals and as a group. The chorus performs a variety of musical genres and styles that are culturally and historically significant. We seek to foster a sense of community with music that resonates and enriches the audiences we serve.

We are a non-audition chorus and welcome anyone with a passion for choral music to join. We also strive to make our performances open and accessible to all. All of our concerts are joyfully provided at no cost to all who wish to join us.
