The Emmitsburg Community Chorus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of those in our community by offering a vibrant and diverse repertoire of choral music.

About Us

The Emmitsburg Community Chorus (ECC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves communities in north central Maryland and south central Pennsylvania. The group offers a varied repertoire of choral music ranging from classical to contemporary. ECC performances are open to the public at no cost.

The ECC is led by a choral director, Peggy Flickinger, and is accompanied by a pianist, Lisa Mattia. The group has two performance seasons, Spring and Winter. Rehearsals are held from August through May on Tuesday evenings.

The chorus welcomes new members at the beginning of each performance season. No formal auditions are required, just a love of music and an interest in community involvement.

Interested in Joining?

As a community chorus, the ECC offers opportunities for personal enrichment, community engagement and musical excellence in a fun and positive environment. We invite singers age 16 and older to share their talents and love of music with our appreciative audiences in seasonal and special concerts. There are no auditions and no formal musical training or experience is required.
