Members of the Emmitsburg Community Chorus come from many different backgrounds and have a wide diversity of interests. Our group includes teachers and bankers, insurance agents and librarians, college professors and college students. And what brings us together is our love of music, especially singing.

We began our Winter 2025 Concert Season a little early this year so that we could participation in a special event that brought musicians from around the mid-Atlantic region to Emmitsburg, Maryland to celebrate the life of this country's first American-born saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton. She lived and worked in this area for much of her life.

So our first photos of this season are of the ECC's performance at the Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton, which took place on 14 September 2025 before nearly 1,500 people. And if you take a look at our History Page, you'll see that the ECC also performed at the canonization of Elizabeth Seton in Rome in 1975.
